AP-954 is designed for the removal of rust from ferrous surfaces and oxides and heat scale from many jet engine components as part of various multi-stage processes. Type 316 stainless steel tanks or other acid resistant containers should be used.
AP-954 is a concentrated solution of phosphoric acid, detergents and inhibitors.
- Inhibited against attack on steel.
- Removes rust and scale from steel and chromium plated ferrous surfaces.
- Can be applied by spray, brush or immersion.
- Fast acting and free rinsing.
- Removes oxides and heat scale from many hot section jet engine parts.
